A Waterfall Wedding

February 28, 2014

She uttered the words “vintage flower fairy theme” followed shortly by “waterfall” and any sense of my own professionalism flew quickly out of the window. The wedding was to be on a Sunday in May at Kenton Church followed by a reception next to one of the highest waterfalls in England, Canonteign Falls. Im not going to lie….I begged her to hire me! Literally! Begged. I think my exact words were “Pick me! Pick me!…Pleeeease!” Luckily my desperation didn’t put them off, although in retrospect it might have been out of sheer pity that Naomi and Charlie decided to hire me to document their wedding…and I’m so thankful that they did. It was, without question, one of the most beautiful (and fun) weddings that I have ever had the pleasure of shooting.

Naomi is just about as beautiful as beautiful can get. In absolutely every sense of the word! Put her together with Charlie and …..well….you’ve reached a whole new level of superhuman gorgeousness.

One of the best first dances that I have ever seen!

Thank you so much to Naomi and Charlie for allowing me to be a part of their amazing day! I absolutely ADORE you both forever 🙂
