A wedding full of sun, sporrans and a dash of taxidermy

March 14, 2014

Just the mere mention of an outdoors wedding and my heart skips a little and swiftly breaks into a rather jazzy rendition of ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow.’ Luckily it’s a fairly quiet rendition. Maybe in the UK we rarely believe the weather will be that kind to us….but my dear readers, just occasionally the sun shines on the brave. Frances and Frazer travelled down from Scotland, where they both live, to Dartington Hall in Devon for their wedding last year. Under a backdrop of blue skies, totally luscious red lips (the bride did her own make-up folks!) and a rather interesting choice of centrepieces for their tables, they wed in a beautiful, sun-drenched ceremony!

So what was so unusual about the centrepieces I hear you ask? Look a little closer…but maybe not if mice aren’t your thing!! Real not-so-very-much-alive-anymore mice….in little straw nests 🙂
