Behind the Lens
I was 6 years old and standing in my Dads photographic studio in London. Huge bright lights sparkled like stars across the room as people hurried around me carrying make-up brushes and sparkly shoes. Beautiful clothes were draped across hangers and tall girls walked around wearing, what my grandmother would have said, was ‘enough clothes to catch a cold!’ And they didn’t seem to care!
It was deliciously glamorous and took the idea of ‘dressing up’ to a whole new level of fabulous. I was totally hooked!
By 16, I had turned my bedroom into a darkroom (doesn’t everyone?)
By 21, I had a degree in Film and Photography and a passion to use these mediums to create things of beauty.
I have worked on advertising and editorial campaigns and as an Assistant Director for music videos and huge budget feature films.
However, in 2008 I agreed to photograph my friends wedding and I fell completely, utterly and hopelessly in love with all things ‘wedding.’
For the past 10 years, I have travelled the world capturing beautiful weddings of kind and love-filled people.
In 2016 I gained an International qualification in Business and Life Coaching, which enables me to train and mentor Photographers around the world.

Me without cameras
I love good food, great design, the light at sunset and believe cake is always good for you. Beautiful shoes make my heart sing…as do my children (although I probably should have put that first!)
When I’m not behind a camera I am usually walking on the beaches of Cornwall…or chasing our lovely but extremely mischievous staffie, Roxy.
I love everything about being near the sea, from sinking my feet into the soft sand to listening to the waves lapping against the shore.
I adore surfing, although I’m totally hopeless at it but what I lack in skill, I certainly make up for in enthusiasm!
