Here’s a little inspiration for anyone planning a Spring wedding. Imagine a decadent banquet on the lawn with rustic furniture, vintage crockery and delicate champagne saucers…..complete with edible floating flowers!
Sugar Mamas, provided two amazing cakes. They mixed classic iced tiers with fresh blooms and intricate handmade iced flowers and vines, finished with delicate hand painted detailing.
Knots & Kisses created the stationery to compliment the botanical theme with rustic twine and an elegant use of text and colour. The amazing ladies from Blue Fizz Events styled every element of this the shoot. This includes handmade napkins stitched from vintage fabric, coupled with blades of greenery as the napkin rings. The abundance of flowers and greenery were supplied by The Flower Mill adding a vibrant array of colour throughout.
Our lovely groom wore a blue linen jacket and striped tie from Samuel Daw & Co of Barnstaple for fresh, contemporary look.
One focus of this shoot is on the beautifully refurbished coach house at Coombe Trenchard. It offers a bar area, dance floor and snug complete with sofas, easy chairs and fire pits.
Our bride wore dresses from Christine Trewinnard. Pictured above, she wears a full skirt and gentle green silk bodice. The hair was a celebration of curls topped with an asymmetric flower crown. The make-up used a vibrant palette to reflect the fresh, floral theme.
…..and the peacock might have been the star of the show!
