Tom and Becky met through a mutual friend and got to know one another at a weekly pub quiz they all attended. They have been together since March 2011 and got engaged in October 2013. Their wedding was held at the beautiful exclusive country house barn venue of Dodford Manor. Tom and Becky spent a lot of time personalising their wedding and making sure they had a day they could enjoy and appreciate every minute of.
We took a few moments away for some bridal couple portraits, which is so important as it gives couple a chance to connect with one another and take in the events of the day. The evening reception was great fun, with enough time for Tom and Becky to speak to all their family and friends and they really enjoyed some amazing karaoke as part of the evening entertainment.
Becky knew she had found her dress the minute she tried it on! “It was very ‘me’ but also flattering to my figure. “ The gorgeous lace detail made it just perfect for the wedding venue and theme.
Bridal preparations took place at Staverton Park Hotel , while Tom got ready at home in Birmingham.
Their wedding theme was inspired by their favourite colours and things they love to do together. They designed the unique table themes and handmade many of the decorations to show true reflection of their personalities.
I just loved the naked cake with fresh fruit dusted with icing sugar – it even included Tom and Becky’s dog, Bouncer!
