“Everything happens for a reason!” A famous quote that could not ring more true as this tale of romance has an unexpected beginning.
Although Mia and Adam have known each other for a long time their story really begins on a cold winters day when Mia broke her collarbone whilst walking in the snow! Incredibly that dark cloud had a very silver lining. Adam knew from personal experience how painful a collarbone break was and when he heard about Mia’s mishap he got in touch. From there things began to blossom and their first date was spent strolling through their local woodland. Fast forward to a year later and Adam was down on one knee proposing to Mia in those very same woods.
The chosen wedding venue was Dodford Manor which is set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. Mia and Adam really wanted to enjoy every minute of their special day so they took a few moments throughout the day to take in everything around them and enjoy the friends and family that had joined them to celebrate. Mia loved the time she shared getting ready with her bridesmaids and was a vision as she walked down the aisle in an exquisite dress of delicate lace. The couple wanted their guests to feel relaxed and echoed the mood through keeping the decor casual yet elegant. There were flowers galore and favours of fun little bags of pick ‘n mix sweets which doubled up as place cards.
I loved getting to know Mia and Adam and being able to spend a marvellous day capturing all the love and laughter. I knew the day would be perfect… I had a feeling in my ‘bones’!
