A romance that began on a holiday in Rome, culminated in a romantic and atmospheric wedding in the historical Roman Baths venue in Bath. Ray and Viv wanted a stylish and glamorous affair to finally tie the knot after a long courtship and chose their favourite weekend destination hotel in Bath to accommodate all the family and friends for the wedding weekend.
The ceremony took place on a cold February evening in the Roman ruins with steam rising from the warm baths as a beautiful backdrop. Viv wore a stunning champagne crystal dress which made her feel and look glamorous in the candlelit venue. It was followed by a wedding dinner in the gallery and a reception in the gorgeous entrance hall.
With 5 children between them, the wedding was definitely a family affair and the younger guests particularly enjoyed the photo booth, taking full advantage of the opportunity to dress up and take photos.
“Our favourite part of the day was after the ceremony and the meal when the guests could enjoy a few drinks, everyone was happy and we were able to relax and spend some time on our own with Natalie for photographs. Despite the temperature only being 2 degrees we had time around the steaming waters and then went out into Bath historical city for more photo’s. ”

It was an incredible wedding in a stunning venue. And of course my beautiful and glamorous younger sister looked amazing! Ray wasn’t so bad either …
Fantastic photography, my husband (a professional photographer for 35 years) was VERY impressed with your flexibility and fortitude. Especially the group shots where you balanced precariously at the edge of the water.
A wonderful wedding. Thank you for capturing its essence so magnificently.
